Jane Jeffrie Seley, MPH, MSN, GNP-C, BC-ADM, CDE

Jane Jeffrie Seley is a Diabetes Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator on the Inpatient Diabetes Team at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Currently, Jane serves on the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Scientific Sessions Planning Committee and is the liaison for the Professional Section Council on Education. She is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) Professional Practice Committee and is chair of the Inpatient Diabetes Specialty Practice Group.
Jane is a contributing editor and column coordinator of the Diabetes Under Control column in the American Journal of Nursing. She holds a Masters degree in public health (MPH) from New York University and a Masters degree in gerontological nursing (MSN) from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. Jane is a doctoral student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at SUNY Stony Brook. She is an active speaker and author whose commitment to professional diabetes education is second only to her dedication to delivering the best clinical care to people living with diabetes.
