The Diabetes Core Curriculum Workshop (DCCW) has a wonderful reputation for providing comprehensive, practical, professional education. Our goal is to improve patient quality of care and patient outcomes by providing the most up-to-date diabetes information to those attending.

The course attracts multidisciplinary healthcare professionals who want to know about the latest diabetes therapeutic modalities and patient care services they can use in their facilities to enhance the way they treat and educate their patients.

Diabetes educators specialize in the treatment of diabetes; each one meets with approximately 1,000 patients per year. They help consumers decide what factors will help them manage their diabetes such as diet, exercise, medications, self monitoring and stress reduction. Each one of these components is important in designing an individualized, therapeutic treatment modality.
