As a continuing education course, we cover the curriculum recommended by the American Diabetes Association's "National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs", address the content areas on the Certification Exam for Diabetes Educators (CDE) as well as some of the content on the Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) exam.

Course modules are updated prior to each course ensuring participants receive the most up-to-date information.

** The Diabetes Core Curriculum Workshop (DCCW) is approved for continuing education by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Courses approved by these organizations are accepted by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) for CDE recertification by continuing education.
